1. Berber women collect and dry the Argan fruit in open air which allows them to remove the fleshy pulp, and in turn, exposes the Argan kernels.
  2. The cracking of the nuts are all done by hand.   If culinary Argan Oil is desired, the Argan kernels are then roasted. 
  3. A brown colored mash is created. Once this occurs, pure Argan Oil expels from this mash.

Cosmetic Argan oil is produced the same, with the exception of the Argan Kernels not being roasted. As you can see, the making of Argan Oil is no easy process. Though it is time consuming and labor intensive, the Argan Oil is worth the tedious effort!
